A. Introduction - Model 140

These Work Instructions show the proper procedures for installation of the GPS navigation system in the model 140 vehicles. The installation must be conducted precisely as described with the installation material supplied (screws, lock washers, etc.) only. Before starting installation, make sure to get the CD for the navigation unit for the geographic area in which the system will be used; it is not a part of this kit.

For safety reasons, the place of installation of any component must not be altered by the Mercedes-Benz dealer or the end customer. Furthermore, the Display Unit must not be removed without the removal of the attachment parts by an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer.

Note:
Dark window tinting may affect GPS reception and system performance, please advise customer accordingly.
