D. Wiring Harness - Model 140
1. Run the display unit cable (round 13-pin connector) and wires for speed sensor (green connector), and speaker (yellow connector) forward from the trunk; leaving the Positive (red), Ground (brown), Ignition (black), Reverse (white) wires, and 26-pin connector in the trunk. (Wires will exit trunk in model 140 coupe only). In the sedan the wires will exit the trunk at the bottom of the seat and follow the existing harness.2. Route wires to the front via the right-hand wiring harness channel along existing wires and tie off with loom ties.
3. Route the cables under the footwell area plate on the front passenger side. Tie off at existing cable ties.
4. Pull out Display Unit cable at joint of center console and knee bolster. Tuck cable in channel at the top of the bracket against the knee bolster. Place cable to the left side of the bracket and under the display unit mount.
Note:
Speed Sensor will connect at terminal under footwell metal plate.
5. Plug in Display Unit cable into display to ensure enough cable has been pulled through to the front.
6. Working front to back tuck wire in track.
