G. Navigation Unit - Model 140

1. Attach the two metal brackets to the navigation unit housing using supplied screws, T-20 Torx needed. Do not tighten plastic screws completely at this time.

The top of the box is labeled; make sure this side is up.

2. Navigation unit is installed in trunk on the right side under the hat shelf. To avoid damage to navigation unit, place unit at least 10 mm (1/2 in.) back from front edge.

3. Mark position for navigation unit. Center of unit will be approximately 330 mm (13 in.) from the inside of the right trunk hinge. Mark the position of the four bracket holes and drill 7.5 mm holes for Rivnuts.

Note:
Do not drill into rear sun shade, If equipped.

4. Attach Rivnuts and replace under cover of hat shelf. Run GPS antenna cable out the back of the cover. Puncture through under cover material where holes were drilled.

5. Attach unit with four M5 x 12 screws and lock washers provided.

6. Plug 26-pin connector and secure the connection by the blue locking tab and plug in the GPS antenna cable into back of Navigation Unit. Tuck harness behind material liner covering the back of the trunk. Do not kink GPS antenna cable.

7. Make sure unit is in a horizontal position and then tighten the brackets to the housing.

8. Reinstall all panels removed from trunk.

Note:
Installation kit comes with two U-shaped tools to extract the navigation computer from its housing. Please give these tools to the customer after completing installation.
