D. Electrical Connection - Model 210
Passenger Area:1. Positive red wire (KL3O):
Remove fuse box located under rear seat. Take positive wire and connect underneath fuse box to terminal number 17 (Figure 5).
2. Fuse:
Insert fuse 5 amp for navigation unit in terminal number 17.
3. Ignition - black wire (KL15):
Connect wire at radio in pin # 7 (Special tool no. 210 589 02 3300). Use break out procedure. Remove pin 7 from connector. Insert black ignition navigation wire into pin 7 slot. Insert original vehicle wire into position 1 of supplied connector housing. Connect original wire to black ignition wire (Figure 6).
4. Speed Signal - green wire:
Connect to most forward of 3 terminals in right side of the harness channel, designation X62/19, in footwell area of front passenger (Figure 7).
5. Ground - brown wire (KL31):
Connect to designated ground terminal, W15/1, near front of passenger footwell using M6 ring terminal (Figure 8).
Trunk:
6. Reverse - white wire:
Connect wire at left backup light in pin # 1 - Figure 9 (Special tool no. 210 589 O2 3300 needed) Use break out procedure:
- Remove pin 1 from terminal.
- Insert white reverse navigation wire into pin 1 slot.
- Insert original vehicle wire into position 1 of supplied connector housing.
- Connect original vehicle wire to white navigation reverse wire.
