FLUID LEVEL CHECK

1. Place vehicle on level surface, then engage parking brake.
2. Place selector lever in P position.
3. Start engine and allow to reach normal operating temperatures.
4. Unlock transmission dipstick closing lever, remove dipstick and clean with suitable lint free rag, then remeasure transmission fluid level.
5. Install transmission dipstick and close lever.
6. Add transmission fluid as required.

DRAIN & REFILL

1. Place selector lever in P position.
2. Raise and support vehicle, then remove engine compartment lining.
3. Remove drain plug from transmission oil pan and drain fluid into suitable container.
4. After fluid has been drained, install drain plug and torque to 10 ft. lbs.
5. Using suitable fluid, fill transmission to specifications outlined under ``Lubricant Data,'' do not overfill.
