Preparation For Test
- Battery voltage 11 - 14 V (when working on soft top system, always connect battery charger).
- RB switch must not blink.
- Fuses F24, F24/1 and F1/A O.K.
NOTE: Regarding limit switch testing.
- Refer to the Electrical Wiring Diagrams for Model 124.
- To enter control module diagnostic mode:
1. Ignition: OFF.
2. Bridge sockets 1 and 3 of connector (X11/12) in passenger footwell, refer to the ETP - Test Steps - Step 1. 1.0 - 4.0
3. Ignition: ON.
4. Remove bridge.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The test in the ETP section "Test Steps" calls for the connection of the socket box to the power soft top control module in 3 different ways. Connections are distinguished as connections made to the power soft top control module connector X, Y or Z. These are indicated in the test as in the next image.
