Dynamometer or Speedometer Test Stand

Before operating a vehicle with ASR or SRS on a dynamometer or speedometer test stand, the following must be performed:

a. Ignition OFF.
b Bridge socket 6 and 1 on test connection for diagnosis (X11/4). This switches the ABS/ASR control unit into the diagnostic mode.
c. Ignition ON, perform diagnostic work. As long as the diagnostic mode is activated, the ABS and ASR warning lamps are on.
d. Ignition OFF, disconnect bridge.
