Antenna, Radio: Description and Operation

A2/32 Rear Window Antenna:

The AM/FM antenna is integrated into the rear window.

The mast antenna in the rear fender is used for the cellular telephone only. The antenna extends only if a CTEL is installed and turned on.

A2/18 FM/AM and Antenna Diversity Amplifier:

The FM/AM and antenna diversity amplifier (A2/18) is installed on the left C-pillar.

C3 Electrolytic Capacitor (Rear Glass Noise Suppressor):

In order to prevent interference from the rear window defroster, an electrolytic capacitor (C3) is installed into the positive wire.
