Antitheft Mode Switch: Description and Operation

Purpose
Switch off anti-towing and interior motion sensor.
Anti-theft alarm (ATA) status indicator

Design
Resistance coded switch (button)

Function
When the switch (S85/2) is pressed at top (switching off interior motion sensor) the status indicator (LED) in the switch S85/2 flashes for approx. 2s at a flashing frequency of approx. 3 Hertz as an acknowledgment signal.

If the switch (S85/2) is pressed at bottom (switching off anti-towing sensor) the status indicator (LED) in switch S85/2 comes on for approx. 2s as an acknowledgment signal.

The status indicator (LED) in switch S85/2 flashes at a frequency of approx. 1 Hertz when the anti-theft alarm (ATA) is activated.
