B. Checking IR Transmitter Batteries

An LED indicator will illuminate in the IR transmitter window (a) of the IR transmitter button (b) for more than 1 second, indicating that the batteries are OK (Figure 2). Should the LED diode not illuminate, check the battery contacts or replace the batteries as necessary.
