On vehicles painted with the exterior paint color Black Pearl (paint code 9199) or Black Opal (paint code 9189), the steel rocker panels (arrows, Figure 1) are painted in matching vehicle color in place of the previously used alto grey (paint color code 7700) or deep dark grey (paint color code 7167).

B. TRUNK LID INTERIOR

As of January 1996, the interior of the trunk lid is no longer painted grey (paint code 7164).





The visible area (crosshatched area, Figure 2) beyond the interior trunk lid trim is painted in the corresponding matching vehicle color.
