Valve Cover: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
- Remove resonance intake manifold. Service and Repair
- Remove injection pipes complete, refer to Powertrain Management.
- Remove trim of cylinder head cover
- Remove cylinder head cover with gasket

INSTALLATION
- Reverse procedures to install, noting the following:
- Replace cylinder head cover gasket if necessary after inspecting.
- Ensure that the bushes of the trim cover (1) are correctly located (arrow).
- Replace seals (2).
- When replacing cylinder head cover, use self-tapping screws to attach trim of cylinder head cover
- When installing trim panel of cylinder head cover, ensure that the leak oil pipe (arrow) is not jammed in between
- Tighten cylinder head cover bolts to: Nm 10
