Oil Spray Jet: Service and Repair

NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.

REMOVAL
1. Remove oil pan. Service and Repair
2. Remove oil pump, refer to Oil Pump Assembly. Service and Repair
3. Remove deflector plate.
4. Remove crankshaft. Service and Repair





5. Remove oil spray nozzles (22)
- Use impact extractor and claw to pull out oil spray nozzle (22)
- Cover over oil feed drillings.

INSTALLATION
- Install in the reverse order, noting the following:
Inspect oil galleries, clean
Use compressed air to blow through oil galleries in direction of oil flow





Position new oil spray nozzle (22) vertical to contact surface in crankcase and knock in with drift.
