Task
Controlling idle speed also when engine subjected to loads (e.g. with drive position engaged or not, or A/C compressor operating).

Function
The IFI/DFI crankshaft position sensor (L5/6) supplies an alternating voltage signal to the IFI control module (N3/7). The control module calculates the engine speed conducts a set/actual value comparison and control the specified engine speed through the IFI fuel metering control (Y23/1) and the control rod.
