Task
Limiting the quantity injected at WOT.

Function
The IFI control module (N3/7) is supplied with the necessary input signals from the components listed below and limits the quantity of fuel injected through the IFI fuel metering control (Y23/1) and of the control rod. This prevents smoke emissions when accelerating.
The quantity injected at WOT is additionally reduced if faults exist in the following components and sub-systems:
- Crankshaft position sensor (L5/6)
- Accelerator position sensor (R25/2)
- IFI electrohydraulic shutoff (Y1/1)
- Exhaust gas recirculation control (EGR)
- Intake pressure control
- Starter ring gear rpm sensor (L3, model 202 up to 11/94)
