The stored faults can be read and erased at the data link connector (X11/4) with:
- Hand-Held Tester (HHT)
- Pulse counter at socket 4

Model 202 as of 12/94, model 210, model 140, control module MSA15.1 or MSA 25.1
The stored faults can be read and erased at the data link connector (X11/4) with:
- Hand-Held Tester (HHT)

Model 210.020/025 (USA), control module MSA 15.1 or MSA 25.1, OBD II
In accordance with legal requirements stored faults can be read at the data link connector II (X11/22) with:
- Generic scan tool


NOTE: The OBD II fault code differs in some cases from the system fault code.
