Task
Controlling heating of the glow plugs during starting of the engine.

Function
Startglowing is commenced by turning the glow/starter switch (S2/2) to position 3. The preglow time relay (N14) is supplied with a signal through circuit 50 and is started. Consequently, voltage continues to be supplied to the glow plugs (R9) so long as voltage exists at circuit 50.
