Hazard Labels:
1 Avoid flames, sparks and open light in vicinity of batteries
- No smoking!
- Prevent sparks resulting from short circuits during repair work on vehicle electrical system
2 Explosion hazard when charging batteries
- Explosive gas is produced while charging, do not remove battery chamber caps when charging and provide for sufficient ventilation in closed rooms
3 Observe instructions for handling batteries

4 Injury hazard from battery acid
- Do not tip battery to prevent acid from spilling out and always store standing up straight
5 Wear protective goggles
- Wear protective goggles and gloves when working on battery
6 keep batteries and acid away from children
7 First aid measures
- In the event of contact with eyes rinse out immediately with clear water for several minutes and then contact physician immediately
- Neutralize acid on skin and clothes immediately with acid neutralizing agent or solution of soap and water and rinse with large quantity of water
- If acid is swallowed consult a physician immediately
