Remote control key, design
The remote control key contains a transponder for the drive authorization system, batteries for supplying power to the remote control as well as a mechanical key.

Remote control key, function

When one of the remote control buttons is pressed a radio frequency signal is transmitted from the remote control key to the radio receiver module in the radio frequency DAS control module (N54/3) via the radio receiver antenna. This signal transmits the code stored in the remote control key. The code is changed with each actuation.
