Cooling System Bleeding

NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.

1. Push float down (e.g. with screwdriver).
2. Top up coolant very slowly to the marking.
3. Switch heater to maximum and warm up engine by running at moderate revs.
4. Top up coolant, constantly if necessary, to the marking on the expansion reservoir.
5. Once a coolant temperature of 60 - 70°C is reached, close filler opening at coolant expansion reservoir with cooling system cap.
