REPLACEMENT OF CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (L5) CONNECTOR

These Work Instructions show the use of a repair harness kit to replace the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor (L5) connector, therefore it is no longer necessary to replace the entire engine harness. The repair harness kit consists of a replacement 2.pole connector with attached wiring, two self-soldering splice connectors and a roll of cloth tape.

This repair procedure should be performed upon each affected vehicle.
