Function of One-Touch Window Up/Down Control
Function prerequisites
- Voltage not too low or too high and
- circuit 15 0N or circuit 15R ON
Function
The one-touch power window up/down feature can be started by pressing one of the power window switches beyond the first catch point in the opening or closing direction. Each power window can be operated separately.
NOTE: On model 208.4 the power window manual up function is performed instead of the one-touch window up function on the front or rear power windows.
- Front power windows
When the left front power window switch in the front center console (S21/1) or right front power window switch in the front center console (S21/2) is pressed the corresponding door control module receives a CAN message from the rollbar/soft top operation control module (N52) and actuates the appropriate power window motor until the window is completely open, even when the switch is released previously.
If the (front) windows are not synchronized the window manual up/down function is performed instead of the one-touch window up/down function.
- Rear power windows
When the left rear power window switch (N72s3) or right rear power window switch (N72s4) is pressed the rollbar/soft top operation control module (N52) receives a CAN message from the lower control panel control module (N72) and actuates the appropriate power window motor until the window is completely open - even when the switch is released previously.
Termination of function
The one-touch up/down function is terminated when
- S21/1, S21/2, N72s3 or N72s4 are pressed again after returning to the middle position,
- it is recognized that the power window is locked up,
- the function prerequisites are no longer fulfilled,
- the pinch protection trips while rolling up,
- desynchronization occurs while rolling down (only on front power windows).
