Disconnect/Connect Engine Wire Harness

NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.

DISCONNECTING
Remove, disconnect or unplug the following components:
1. (W10) Battery ground
2. (N14x2) Preglow time relay
- Unplug connector (arrow).
3. (1) Remove component compartment cover
4. (X22, X22/2) Unplug connectors in right of component compartment
- Pay attention to fuses of plug connections!
5. (B17x1) Unplug intake air temperature sensor connector
6. (X22/1) Unplug engine compartment/engine connector AG
7. (Y23/2x1) Unplug EDFE distributor injection pump connector
8. (X4) Connector terminal 30 left footwell
- Unbolt cable on outside of body.
9. (G2)Disconnect generator wiring harness
10. (W11/1)Unbolt engine ground (ground strap)

CONNECTING
Connect in reverse order, noting the following:
- After connecting, read fault memory and encode radio.
