Roof Lamp Switch, Function

The changeover contact in the roof lamp switch (S13/3) is connected to the input of the special vehicle multifunction control module (SVMCM) (N26/9) by a discrete lead.

When the switch is pushed up ("Roof sign ON") this lead is connected directly to ground; when the switch is moved down ("Roof sign 0FF") it is connected to ground through a resistor.
