Task
- Controlling the following systems in line with the analysis of input signals:
- Fuel supply
- Injected quantity control
- Emission control system
- Boost pressure control (engine 605.960/962, 606.961/962)
- Cruise control (AT only)
- A/C compressor cutoff
- Monitoring inputs/outputs, checking plausibility and storing faults
- Forming substitute value in the event of signal failure (emergency mode)
- Diagnosis (output of stored faults)
Function
- The IFI control module (N3/7) is supplied with voltage by the fuse and relay module (K40/4) or relay module (K40) or base module (N16/1) (circuit 87 unfused). It detects the input signals and actuates the outputs in line with the operating conditions.
