Cavity protection
The preservative wax (cavity wax) is introduced into the cavities through the holes provided using automatically controlled high-pressure spray equipment (120 bar).
Continuous coating and consistent quality is guaranteed by the electronic closed-loop control system (IGS method) for the preservation wax application equipment.
The longitudinal members are flooded with hot cavity wax at 90 degree C. For this the body is tilted through approx. 45 degrees so that the excess wax can drain off. An even wax layer remains.
The wax film remains permanently flexible once it has dried out.
