Hold Pressure Control Functions

ABS Hold Pressure Control Mode
If one or more wheels shows a tendency to lock during the braking process, the ABS prevents a further pressure build-up. The ABS control module derives the hold pressure phase from the wheel speeds and slip values.

The hold pressure phase is introduced by actuating (closing) the solenoid valves (y6, y8, y20). All the solenoid valves (y6 to y21) are closed in this control phase with the brake pressure in the brake calipers remaining constant.
