Center Assembly (Differential) Rubber Mounts

NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.

REMOVAL
1. Remove rear axle center assembly (differential), refer to Transmission and Drivetrain





2. Using the removal and installation tool 210 589 02 43 00 with parts 15 and 16 (015, 016), or equivalents, pull both rubber mounts (62) forwards out of the rear axle carrier





3. Insert rubber mounts from the front in the cross member so that the designation top" points upwards vertically (arrow).

INSTALLATION





- Using the removal and installation tool parts 07 and 15 (017 and 014), pull forward both rubber mounts (62) into the rear axis carrier until the installation washer (07) abuts the rear axle carrier
- Reverse remaining procedure to install
