Function of Opening/Closing With CF and Remote Control Key

Function
Pressing the "lock vehicle" button on the remote control key actuates the corresponding central locking function. If the button is pressed for longer than 5 seconds, the remote control key sends an infrared (IR) signal to close the windows and sliding roof with the convenience feature. This signal is received by one of the IR receivers. If the function prerequisites are fulfilled,the corresponding door control module transmits a command on the CAN bus to close the windows and sliding roof with the convenience feature. The command is transferred as long as the signal is received from the remote control key. The overhead control panel control module (N70) doses the sliding/pop-up roof with the convenience feature. The door control modules close the windows with the convenience feature.

When the button "unlock vehicle" is pressed, the windows and sliding roof are opened using the convenience feature.
