2 The code number for the radio in question is indicated on the enclosed CODE CARD
3 Enter code number with control knob (7)
After entering the first number the lettering "CODE" disappears and the number entered is displayed, followed by 4 lines. The next digit to be entered flashes. When all 5 numbers are entered the first digit starts to flash again. In this state it is possible to overwrite the code number as often as desired. Correction is only possible by entering the complete number again.

4 Confirming code number:
Press rotary knob (7). The radio switches on automatically and indicates the stored station and frequency on station button 1.

5 If an incorrect code number was entered and confirmed the display again indicates the lettering "CODE". After incorrectly entering the code three times, the lettering "WAIT" appears in the display and the radio is blocked for approx. 10 min. Additional 3 incorrect entries lock the radio for another 10 minutes. Further 3 incorrect entries (all totaled 9 incorrect entries) increase the lock-up time to 60 min. Additional 3 incorrect entries block the radio again for 60 minutes.
The waiting time runs only when the radio is switched on.
