Removing And Installing Central Locking Interior Control Switch







NOTE: The hazard flasher switch (S6/1s1), the interior switch (CL) (S6/1s2) and RHR unlocking switch (S/1s3) are consolidated into one unit in the cockpit switch group (S6/1).
- The cockpit switch group (S6/1) can only be replaced as a complete unit.

Removal, Installation
1 Pull cover (1) back at bottom and remove from center console housing (2) at top

NOTE: On vehicles with air conditioning (automatic) (code 581a) remove the pushbutton control module (radio mount) previously.

2 Disconnect electrical connectors from cockpit switch group (S6/1)
3 Unclip cockpit switch group (S6/1) (4 catch lugs, arrows) and remove from cover (1)
4 Reinstall in opposite order
