Command Valve

LOCATION
- A command valve is part of each shift group. The command valves 1-2/4-5 and 2-3 are installed in the slide housing and the command valve 3-4 is installed in the valve housing.

TASK
- The command valve switches the shift group from the steady-state phase into the shift abase and back again.

FUNCTION
- When the end face is depressurized (steady-state phase) the operating pressure is led to the shift element to be operated. If shift valve pressure (p-Sv) is applied to the end face of the command valve (shift phase), the shift pressure is switched through to the engaging actuator and overlap pressure is switched through to the disengaging actuator.
