Power Window Desynchronization, Function

Definition
Desynchronization cancels the power window synchronization, this means that the counter status for position recognition is no longer valid.

Function
Desynchronization is accomplished when
- the door control module is disconnected from the power supply (e.g. battery disconnected, door control module removed or installed), or
- a malfunction was recognized in the position recognition feature or
- the power window has locked up

In such cases the relationship between the counter status for position recognition and the actual position of the window is no longer valid. For this reason it is necessary to resynchronize the window.
