Stop Lamp Switch

Task
The 2-pin stop lamp switch (S9) supplies a signal regarding the operation of the brake pedal to the stop lamps. The 4-pin stop lamp switch (S9/1) additionally transmits a signal to systems which have to be informed about operation of the brakes (e.g. BAS, ETS, ASR, ESP. TPM, ERE, EVE).

Operation
Normally Open contact for stop lamp.
Normally Closed contact for control modules.
