Temperature Sensor
TASK
- To register the transmission fluid temperature and pass it on as an input signal to the transmission control module (N15/3).
DESIGN
- Temperature-dependent resistance (PTC)
FUNCTION
- The transmission fluid temperature has a significant influence on the shift time and thus shift quality. By registering the oil temperature shift sequences can be optimized in all temperature ranges. The temperature sensor (Y3/6b1) is connected in series with the starter interlock contact. The temperature signal is only conveyed to the transmission control module (N1513) when the Reed contact of the starter interlock contact is closed.
