Disconnecting and connecting engine wiring harness

Removing, installing
1 Disconnect ground cable (W10), connect.
NOTE: Installation:
- After connecting, read fault memory, code radio and normalize power windows.
- Models with stationary heater: set time of stationary heater.
2 Remove trim panel of control module box.
3 Detach vacuum line (1) Detach at rear of intake manifold.
4 Unplug connector of control module (N3/10).
- Release locking bar and separate plug connections.
5 Unplug connector (A1) at relay module (K40/4).
6 Unplug connector (A2) at relay module (K40/4).
7 Unbolt ground cable (W16/6) next to control module box.
8 Unbolt terminal block (X4) of circuit 30 at outside of body.
- Position of terminal block:
- Model 210: right footwell.
- Model 208, 202: left footwell.Detach cover of cable and pull off protective cap.
9 Unplug central connector (X22/2) of automatic transmission.
- Remove heat shield for this purpose.
10 Unbolt engine ground (W11/5)

11 Install in the reverse order.
12 Read fault memory with HHT and erase.
NOTE: Stored faults which can result from cables being disconnected or from simulation during removal and installation or test work have to be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work.
