Front Bushing (Front Lower Control Arm)

NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.

REMOVAL
1. Remove lower wishbone. Service and Repair
2. Clamp wishbone in vise, use aluminum or equivalent soft jaws.





3. Loosen outer steel washer of hydraulic mount using,a flat chisel





4. Extract hydraulic mount using extractor/installer tool No. 210 589 00 43 00 thrust piece (012c) and three-arm tool (012h), or equivalents
- Clean mounting bore

INSTALLATION





1. Insert hydraulic mount (4h) using extractor/installer tool sleeve (012d) and thrust piece (012e), or equivalents





NOTE: The parallel flats (arrow) of the hydraulic mount must be at an angle of 90° to the welded seam of the wishbone.

2. Draw in the hydraulic mount (4h) until it abuts the collar in the lower wishbone

NOTE: Do not use an impact wrench

3. Install lower wishbone
