Activating
When the car is locked with the infrared remote control (IRCL) the transmitter signal "lock" is transferred from the infrared remote central locking control module (IRCL) (N54) to the multi-function control module (N10). From here the signal is forwarded to the pneumatic system equipment (PSE) control module (A37) via the data bus (CAN).
Following this signal the status of all alarm inputs is checked at regular intervals (0.5 s).
If the input is in the non-actuated state 20 times in sequence (10s), the corresponding alarm input is set to standby.
The remote control signal "lock" activates the anti-theft alarm (ATA) via the pneumatic system equipment (PSE) multi-function control module (A37) and, if installed, the interior motion sensor (IR) and anti-towing sensor (TS).
