Heated Seat and Seat Ventilation Control Module

Purpose
The front HS and seat ventilation control module (N25/7) monitors and controls operation of the heated seat and seat ventilation.
Moreover, it monitors the battery voltage and switches off the connected loads (blower regulator with blower motors and heating elements for seats) when the voltage drops below the low voltage switch-off threshold. Low voltage switch-over is indicated by the corresponding LEDs on the switch flashing.

Moreover, the control module has the following purposes, depending on the selected mode:

Heated seat operation
- Control of the electric power to the heating elements, corresponding to the heating stage selected,
- Automatic switchover from heating stage "2" to heating stage "1" 5 min. after switching on
- Automatic switch-off of the heated seat after expiration of the maximum heating time of approx. 30 min.

Seat ventilation mode
- Control of left front seat ventilation blower regulator (N29/5) and right front seat ventilation blower regulator (N29/6)
- Automatic switchover of seat ventilation from stage "3" to stage "2" after 10 min., and to stage "1" after another 10 min.
