Procedures

Check and correct installed position of center assembly in rear axle carrier using checking device (01) of extractor/puller (06, 015) as follows:





1. Attach checking device (01) with spacers (part 06) and thrust pieces (part 15) on both sides and tighten slightly
2. Pull both rubber mounts (62) evenly into rear axle carrier until the pin (arrow) of the checking device (01) is centrally located in the bore in the cross member
