Function
To call a stored rearview mirror position press one of the memory buttons 1 (S91/2s6), 2 (S91/2s7) or 3 (S91/2s8). The front driver- side door control module (N69/1) recognizes that a switch has been pressed and checks whether the prerequisites for this function are fulfilled. if so that front driver-side door control module (N69/1) transmits the CAN message for setting the stored seat and mirror position to the front passenger-side door control module (N69/2) and the driver-side ESA (with memory) control module (N32/1). Moreover, it performs the function of setting the stored outside mirror position on the driver-side outside rearview mirror (M21/6). This is accomplished as long as the switch is pressed and as long as the prerequisites for the function are fulfilled.
The front passenger-side door control module (N69/2) sets the stored outside rearview mirror position on the passenger-side outside rearview mirror (M21/7).
When a stored outside rearview mirror position is called up the driver's seat is also moved to the stored seat position.
