Multifunction Control Module (CF)
Interlinkage Of Components:
Component Identification:
The multifunction control module (N10-1) contains the following previously separate control modules
- Convenience control module (N57)
- Convenience relays (K24)
- Wiper system relays (K26, K26k1, K26k2, K26k3)
- Time function relay (K13)
It controls the following functions
- 4 power windows
- Outside mirror adjustment (only with driver memory)
- Tilting/sliding roof
- Interior lighting
- Exit lamps
- Central locking interior actuation switch (switch signal only)
- Turn signals
- Jacket tube memory
- Rear window defroster (switch signal only)
- Wiper system control
- Rear head restraints (switch signal only)
- Residual heat (switch signal only)
- Trunk lid remote control (switch signal only)
The multifunction control module (N10-1) can be coded for specific countries and specific models.
New control modules connected to battery voltage for the first time, must be programmed with the following data using the HHT:
The multifunction control module (N10-1) can be reprogrammed as often as desired, e.g. when equipment is retrofitted.
Coding
- (USA)/ECE
- (CH)
- Right-hand steering/left-hand steering
- Model 210.0 (sedan)
Model 210.2 (T-model)
Coding equipment
- ATA (including interior lighting with ATA alarm on/off)
- Driver's seat with memory
- Passenger seat with memory
- Rain sensor
NOTE: On vehicles with left front seat memory each switching position for the outside rear view mirror as well as for the steering column must be actuated for >= 2 sec. with the appropriate control switch with the ignition ON after replacing the multifunction control module (N10-1) or interrupting the power.
Fault memory
The fault memory for the multifunction pneumatic system equipment (A37) is integrated into the multifunction control module (N10-1).
The fault memory in the
- front left power seat control module with memory (N32/1),
- front right power seat module with memory (N32/2),
- ATA control module (is integrated into A37) can be read out via the multifunction control module (N10-1).
Each of these control modules has its own fault memory.
The fault memory can be read out only with the HHT.
