Reverse Park Lock

LOCATION
- The reverse/parking lock is located in the floor selector.

TASK
- To prevent an inadvertent change over to selector lever position "R" or "P" above a speed of approx. 10 km/h.

FUNCTION
- The reverse/parking lock valve (Y66/1) is actuated via the transmission control module (N15/3) and moves the lever (69a) towards the cam (69b) so that the shift shaft (66) is locked. The support lever (69c) holds the lever (69a) in position in the deenergized condition so that this does not lock in position automatically in the event of severe vibrations.
