Function prerequisites
- Voltage not too high or too low and
- Circuit 15 ON or circuit 15R ON
Actuation of the mirror adjustment switch is read in by the lower control panel control module (N72). When it is recognized that circuit 15 is on the lower control panel control module (N72) transmits a CAN message to the front driver-side door control module (N69/1) or front passenger-side door control module (N69/2) depending on which mirror has been selected with the left/right outside mirror switch-over (N72s8). The CAN message is transmitted as long as the switch is actuated, however, for max. 25 sec. The door control module receives the CAN message and actuates the mirror adjustment motors (M21/6m1 and M21/6m2) or (M21/7m1 and M21/7m2) as required.
