Antenna Splitter (Vehicles With Comand and Tele-Aid)

Purpose
Distribution of GPS signal
The antenna splitter (A2/5) is required when the vehicle is equipped with:
- TELE AID/EMERGENCY CALL (code 347) and with
- COMAND (code 352) simultaneously.

Design
- Active frequency splitter with power supply via coaxial cable (phantom power supply)
- 3 coaxial connection sockets

Function
The antenna splitter (A2/5) receives the signals from the GPS antenna (A2/49a2, A2/23) and distributes them to the TELE AID control module (A35/8) and the navigation processor (A40/3n2) integrated into the COMAND operating, display and control module (A35/8).
