DANGER:
- Risk of poisoning from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury from brake fluid corning into contact with skin and eyes.
- Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

1 Check fluid level
- The fluid level must be between the "MAX." and "MIN." marks embossed in the brake fluid expansion reservoir (10).

2 If fluid level is too low, locate and rectify the cause
- Check brake disks and brake pads for wear and condition. Check brake system, ABS, ETS, ASR, ESP, SBC (also pressure reservoir, charging pump and charge plunger unit in wheelhouse) for leak tightness.
