Render squibs for fire extinguishing system unusable by actuating electrically before disposal, according to accident prevention and safety regulations, otherwise humans, objects and the environment can be endangered by improper use of the squibs.

Before triggering, fasten squib in empty extinguishing agent tank intended for this purpose or in suitable holding device. Never close or partially cover exit opening of squib; gases should escape easily. Cordon off area and prevent access.
