D. Installation of Telephone Voice Activation Module

1. Mount the voice activation control module (A35/11) to the bracket with M4 self-tapping TORX screws (Figure 14).

2. Lower the assembly into the rear of the wheel well.

3. Connect the 15-pole D-sub- and optical-connectors to the voice activation module.

Note: Be sure all fibers are free (not tied) and maintain a bend radius no smaller than 25-mm.

4. Place the back leg of the voice activation module bracket over the stud on the quarter panel and the front leg over the pre-punched hole in the trunk rail.

5. Secure the front leg of the bracket to the trunk rail with an M5 x 10 self-tapping screw, but do not tighten completely.
