Production Door Check Noise

If you encounter instances of door check noise on model 220 vehicles, please replace the bolts on both the left and right doors with micro-encapsulated bolts. Bolts should be tightened to a torque of 14 Nm. The microencapsulated bolts entered production as of VIN number A271201 on November 30, 2001.
