Front Power Window Motor Locks Up When Closing
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of the power window motor locking up when closing, the window reversing direction when closing or failure of the power window motor, this may be due to excessive stress in the power window drive system. Perform the below to resolve.
1. With SDS, check for fault codes and the window settings, correct if necessary.
2. Check window seals for dirt and clean and lubricate seals if necessary. The window should be able to move smoothly.
3. If original complaint is not resolved, replace the window motor with the updated part.
